Titan Alarm LTD is proud to celebrate the success of its female team members who have challenged several traditional stereotypes about gender roles in the workplace. Specifically, Titan Alarm has many female representatives who have triumphed in the alarm security industry. As an organization, we consider ourselves to be the incredibly fortunate beneficiaries of these highly motivated, dedicated, talented and hard working individuals. Titan Alarm is based upon a door-to-door sales model in which the sales force has traditionally been dominated by males. However, we are beyond thrilled that our female representatives have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with as demonstrated by their exceptional sales performance. For example, one of our female sales representatives was the number one (1) sales representative for all of Canada and the number two (2) sales representative for the entire company for the 2011 sales season. This individual has been promoted to the position of Assistant Manager for the 2012 sales season. Another female sales representative was the number three (3) sales representative in Canada and the number four (4) sales representative for the entire company for the 2011 sales season. This individual has also been promoted to the position of Assistant Manager for the 2012 sales season. These are just a couple of examples of the outstanding achievements of the talented female sales representatives that Titan is proud to count among its amazing sales team. Another position which has typically been exclusively occupied by males is that of technicians. Titan Alarm regularly utilizes the services of technicians to install its alarm security systems and accompanying equipment. This requires expertise in being mechanical and having a capability for working with one’s hands and addressing technical issues within the homes and businesses of its customers. Titan Alarm is extremely proud of the fact that it employs females in this capacity. These talented female technicians have embraced the opportunity to be trained in and work in the area of installing alarm security systems and handling the challenges associated with the installation of alarms. Titan Alarm has always embraced the opportunity to capitalize on the talent and expertise of female individuals in the workplace. The call center utilized by Titan Alarm employs females in numerous capacities in what are often referred to as more traditional female roles including but not limited to its Director of Operations, Account Managers, Human Resources Director, Data Entry Representatives, Finance and Accounting Professionals and Customer Loyalty Representatives. However, as an organization, we are most particularly excited about our female team members who are challenging the status quo and embarking on a new course in these non-traditional roles. We applaud their achievements and look forward to the 2012 season in which we are confident that they will continue to realize even higher goals.
