Established January 1950

Nufarm was established in Melbourne, Australia in the mid 1950s by the founder Max Fremder. The manufacturing plant began selling phenoxy herbicides to professional spray applicators in regional Victoria and quickly established a reputation for excellent customer service and good quality products. Nufarm provides the unique opportunity to develop products for Canadian farmers. The manufacturing plant has undergone many upgrades over the years to be more efficient, safe and environmentally responsible when formulating and packaging herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
