Zero gravity, sensory deprivation await, as you recline into the shallow Epsom salt water and let your mind and body free itself of anything and everything. The 500 – 800 lbs of dissolved Epsom salt keeps you afloat, as the lack of sound and light eliminates distractions and lets you enter a state of deep relaxation. You will feel weightless—your body and mind will feel as though they are disappearing, though every part of you is alert, conscious and present. We heat the water and maintain it to the same temperature as the surface of the skin (approx. 35°C or 94° F) so you feel as though you and the water are one. Your mind and body are able to take a deserved break from the rest of the world, so you can leave feeling refreshed, nourished and happy. Floating is a way to take a break from the frantic, chaotic world and enter a state of deep mental and physical relaxation. By giving yourself a break from the incessant input of sensory experiences, your mind has a chance to recharge, rest, and emerge to face the world with renewed perspective and vigor.
